We hope to improve your college experience with the following features:
• The ability to upload your classes and major to immediately have books available specifically for you
• A secure and worry-free process! If you lend out your book and it gets damaged or not returned, you will get back the market value of the book
• Fast and reliable system to post the books you will lend out and receive your payout
• A built-in messaging system to set up meetings and start your rental process
• Flexible deadlines and the ability to send and accept extension requests
• A diligent team that keeps the app a safe and welcoming environment
BonoBooks is easy and simple to use. You simply sign up and enter in your student information, including your major and classes. Following that, you can choose either to lend or rent books. If you would like to lend, just scan the barcode of your book, set the price, and make sure you have a way to accept the money, pick your preferred meet-up details, and wait for someone to message you. If you choose to rent, you can go to the Explore Page and click on the section that best suits your needs. You may also search for a specific book. Afterward, you may click on the book pictures and review the details, such as title, edition, which classes the book is for, and price. If you are happy with the details, you may message or request a rental. Once both users decide on a time and place, the person lending out the book will start the exchange in Messages. Both parties will follow a simple exchange process and end off with a secure and cashless payment. Lastly, all that is left to do is for the renter to meet the lender by their Return Deadline and confirm that the book has been handed back over.
We are so happy you decided to download BonoBooks and we look forward to you using our platform and making the app a better place! By downloading BonoBooks you are building up the UW community.
